It’s not easy bein’ green
-Kermit the Frog
When a storm rolls in and my electricity shuts off, the very first thing I do is peek out my window. Not to assess the strength of the wind or the heaviness of the rain, but to figure out what’s happening at my neighbor’s house. The moment I see the darkness, I feel lighter. I know I’m not alone.
That’s what I hope to offer my therapy clients. A feeling that they have someone to share the bad weather with. Because no matter who we are, sometimes life is stormy.
Family Matters
Once we look at ourselves in the context of our families, so much makes sense. That’s why I chose to study marriage and family therapy—to see things through a systems perspective. I like to help my clients move away from “I feel like I’m crazy” to “I guess that seems right based on how I grew up.” I’ve seen, and felt, how freeing this experience can be!

My Background
I’m lucky enough to use both of my degrees—a bachelor’s in Journalism from Penn State and a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from LaSalle University. Besides seeing clients on my own, I’ve been an outpatient therapist at Lenape Valley Foundation for 7 years. And I’ve spent 25 years writing advertising materials, mostly for patients coping with chronic conditions.
Someday we'll find it,
the Rainbow Connection
Like my favorite frog, accepting our identity—whatever that may be—can bring us peace. I also realize how tough the journey to acceptance can be. My own family proudly flies a many-colored rainbow flag. I’ve been privileged enough to help my two LGBTQ+ children along the way. I hope I can help you—and yours—too.
What I can help you with:
LGBTQ+ journey
Anxiety
Grief & loss
Depression
Relationship issues
Self-esteem
Stress
Loneliness
Teenage struggles
Parenting skills
